NSF GK-12 Program at Girard Academic Music Program (GAMP)
As a GK-12 fellow at Drexel University I collaborated with an 8th grade math and science teacher at Girard Academic Music Program (GAMP) in South Philadelphia during the 2007-2008 academic year. At GAMP, I educated two classes of approximately 30 students twice a week by incorporating my interest in sound and acoustics into the current math and science curriculum specified by the School District of Philadelphia education standards.
